Thompson Construction Group has immediate openings for a Water and Sewer Top Man supporting our Infrastructure divisions land development and subdivision projects in the Edmonton area.

Responsibilities: Monitor the elevation and grade of all pipes being installed with either batter boards or builders level Cutting and beveling pipe Rigging all materials to be lowered into ditch Setting up track line Lining up service connection locations, CBs, MHs, etc.

Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures Report all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervision Maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew members Work collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelines Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experienced as a top man in underground utilities Reliable transportation to and from site Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure Ability to work extended hours, including up to 12 hours per day,



Monday to Saturday Valid Class 5 Drivers License is considered an asset Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction workplace Additional Information: The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to these positions.
