We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel- and gas-powered generators and related systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical experience with heavy equipment and a strong understanding of power generation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic tests, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel and gas engines
Complete routine inspections/services and accurately document findings
Respond to field service calls
Routine equipment repair
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements:




Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Registered Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice preferred; willing to train candidate who has a robust interest in pursuing a career in the mechanical trade.
Robust knowledge of electrical diagnostics and load testing
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Must live within commuting distance
Safety certifications/tickets are considered an asset
