Georgian Bay Mechanical is currently seeking a highly skilled and licensed Gas Technician / 313A Refrigeration Technician or Apprentice to join our team full time. Our company specializes in high-end residential projects, requiring a professional with quality workmanship. Our apprentice will work alongside a highly experienced licensed skilled.

The ideal candidate will require mechanical knowledge in installation and maintenance of gas heating units and their components. We offer competitive wages and an opportunity to grow in our field.

Key Responsibilities - Gas Technician:
Install, inspect, repair and maintain gas lines and gas equipment.
High attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service to homeowners.
Maintain compliance with industry codes and regulations.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work workplace.
Understanding of various HVAC systems is an asset.
Effective communication skills.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Proactive in maintaining qualified relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities.

Key Responsibilities - Refrigeration Technician:
Perform installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.




Ability to read and interpret and follow engineering drawings and install according to specifications.
High attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service to homeowners.
Maintain compliance with industry codes and regulations.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Able to efficiently make decisions related to your job and responsibilities to ensure seamless project execution.
Effective communication, training and leadership skills.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Proactive in maintaining professional relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities.

Qualifications:
Gas Technician: G2 Gas Fitter license.
Refrigeration Technician: 313A/313D Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license in Ontario.
Apprentice: registered in a 313A Refrigeration apprenticeship program.
Valid G driver’s license.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
