What we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate is a mature, senior mechanic, with at least 5 years’ experience as a journeyman, or an experienced tradesman with multiple years of experience. We want a working commercial truck and trailer commercial vehicle mechanic not afraid of getting their hands dirty and working in a busy truck and trailer repair shop. We are looking for someone who is a reliable, honest person, with solid people skills and the ability to work within a team environment. Do you love to work with tools, do you work on your own vehicles in your spare time, are you mechanically inclined? Do you love to solve problems, and don’t give up until you are successful? If so, you may be a great fit for this role.
What you bring to us:
· BC CVSE licensed Inspector and Red Seal Mechanic
· Experience working on automotive, commercial transport or heavy-duty equipment
· Able to read electrical schematics and diagnose electrical problems
· Experience in welding and fleet
· Familiar with repairing modern exhaust systems
· Valid class 3 license or equivalent
· Comfortable using a laptop. J Pro, Insite and other diagnostic software
· Comfortable using online and published service manuals for diagnosis and repairs

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
