GNF Commercial Management Limited is hiring experienced boom truck operators to support civil, residential, and commercial construction projects across Halifax and the surrounding region.
In this role, you will operate boom trucks to transport and place materials safely and efficiently across active job sites, working closely with project teams to support lifting and delivery operations.

Responsibilities
Operate boom truck safely and efficiently according to site procedures
Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment
Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks
Ensure proper rigging and securement of loads
Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and trades
Maintain accurate logbooks and equipment records
Follow all safety regulations and company policies
Identify and report mechanical or safety issues
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience operating boom trucks or similar equipment
Experience on residential and commercial construction sites
Familiarity with rigging and material handling procedures
Valid Class 3 driver’s license with clean abstract
Boom truck certification (or willingness to obtain)
Crane or hoisting certification is an asset
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow instructions
