Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient handling of freight, shipping, and supply chain inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess solid communication skills, proficiency with various management systems, and a keen attention to detail to support our logistics operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Manage customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Utilize transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400 to process orders, track shipments, and update data entry records accurately
Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of freight and supplies
Support supply chain operations by analyzing data related to freight movements and inventory levels
Collaborate with 3PL providers to resolve issues related to transportation and logistics
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, shipments, and inventory movements




Assist in the analysis of shipping data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
Provide exceptional service by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally

Skills
Proficiency with transportation management systems such as SyteLine, AS400, and other supply chain software
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and typing speed
Excellent analysis skills to interpret shipping data and identify operational improvements
Knowledge of freight logistics, shipping & receiving processes, and supply chain management
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, carriers, and internal teams
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism
Familiarity with 3PL operations and freight management practices
Robust organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while managing multiple priorities effectively
