Looking for an experienced Journeyman/Service Technician and or Foreman to join our growing team. We are a small, very busy electrical contractor specializing in recent construction and renovation work in both the commercial and residential fields. We also take on commercial & residential service work.
We are needing a team member that can work under their own supervision, running a service van and taking the lead on projects with office support.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine the layout and required installation of electrical wiring and equipment
Test electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate electrical installations with other construction activities
Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, climbing, and lifting heavy objects
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and supervisors
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour

Experience:
Journeyman Electrician: 2 years (preferred)
