Your Prospect: This significant position requires a working knowledge of laboratory testing, consumable sourcing, equipment maintenance, implementation strategies, attention to details, and the ability to prioritize among multiple initiatives and competing timelines.

The Procurement Specialist III works independently but is supported by a team of other Procurement Specialists, Category Leads and Management.

There is flexibility as to the location of this position is within the Province of Alberta.

At the time of appointment, the successful candidate may discuss location options with the hiring manager.

Description: As a Procurement Specialist III, you will showcase your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and external vendors.





You will develop current contracts and contract amendments that create value and mitigate risk to AHS.

You will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the competitive bidding process including RFx evaluations preparing contract documents, assisting with contract implementations and managing contracts within their assigned categories in compliance with AHS procurement processes, policies and guidelines.

Required Qualifications: Completion of post-secondary degree in Business or Supply Management.

Additional Required Qualifications: Equivalent experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: As required.
