Duties
Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems to ensure smooth daily operations
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on equipment using hand tools and power tools
Perform heavy lifting tasks related to loading, unloading, and moving farm supplies or produce
Utilize basic math skills for measuring inputs, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment to promote safety and efficiency

Experience




Prior experience working with farm machinery or in an agricultural setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with maintenance procedures is advantageous
Basic understanding of horticulture principles and crop management practices is a plus
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively is highly desirable
Comfort with using hand tools, power tools, and performing physical labor involving heavy lifting
Solid attention to detail combined with valuable communication skills for teamwork and reporting tasks
