Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our clients by accurately assessing vehicle needs, explaining repair options, and ensuring a smooth communication flow between customers and our service technicians. The ideal candidate will possess strong automotive knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive sales approach to enhance customer satisfaction and service shop success.

Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming workplace.
Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
Explain repair recommendations clearly, including necessary services and options.
Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
Prepare detailed repair orders, ensuring all information is accurate for technicians.
Coordinate with technicians to communicate repair status and estimated completion times.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper records of payments received.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
Maintain thorough knowledge of dealership services, promotions,



and products to assist customers effectively.
Keep the service area organized and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Experience
Prior automotive experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with automotive sales and service processes.
Experience working with mechanics or possessing mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding vehicle repairs.
Solid customer service background with excellent communication skills.
Proven ability in sales, including upselling services and products to enhance revenue opportunities.
Experience handling cash or processing payments securely and accurately.
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and terminology is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
