QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy.

Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Specialists of BC as an Occupational Therapist; Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT); and Knowledge of current Occupational standards, modalities and scope of practice and three (3) years'' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.

Skills And Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, staff and others.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Occupational ability to perform the duties of the position.

Ability to operate related equipment.

Ability to demonstrate and utilize sound judgment, tact, empathy and initiative.

Ability to demonstrate valuable observation and assessment skills.

Ability to demonstrate clinical competence congruent with service area-specific needs.
