Glenwood Labels has been in business for over 50 years, we are well established and one of the largest label manufacturing printing companies in Western Canada.

We are looking for a Flexographic Press Operator to join our team who is mechanically inclined, organized, and works well in a team workplace.

Responsibilities:
Setup jobs and operate multi colour flexographic presses, for custom label production.
Mixing Inks
Mounting Plates
Mounting Dies
Printing jobs according to job ticket instructions
Matching print quality and colours
Work well with other members of staff
Must be able to carry 50 lbs
Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required
Carry out the directives of management




Ability to work overtime as requested
Ability to work afternoon/evening shifts/weekends

Experience:
2 years Flexographic or Litho/Offset printing
Water-based and/or solvent-based ink handling experience an asset
Comfortable with measurements in imperial systems
Mechanically inclined and a logical thinker

Starting Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 (Depending on experience)
