Here at Kelowna General Hospital, you’ll have access to high‑end neuroimaging, including a current 3T MRI and additional MRI capacity that improves brain imaging quality and turnaround times, plus a dedicated high‑speed CT scanner in the Emergency Department and on‑site EEG/EMG.

With acute stroke care managed separately by the neurologist on call for stroke, you will provide on‑site care in the emergency department and inpatient consults.

Call Schedule:

Hours of work: Full time
On call requirements: Scheduling is adaptable to meet the needs of interested locums. Interested locums may choose to cover daytime only or days and nights. A minimum of 8h on-site is required per 24h period.

Compensation:

Estimated Gross Income

An income guarantee (IG) of $3,178 per 24‑hour period is available until September 30, 2026. The IG is inclusive of all income sources. Each 24‑hour IG period requires a minimum of 8 hours worked.
