We are looking to fill the position of Winter Lift Operator at Fernie Alpine Resort .

Our guests are secure and happy on the mountain as you prioritize safety and teamwork while maximizing the guest and employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have solid customer service skills, a positive attitude, be physically fit and enjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment.

Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff Ensure public and personal safety on lifts Offer the highest degree of guest service Assist in the scanning of lift tickets as needed Have a high degree of lift knowledge and be able to operate a designated lift with confidence Carry out MODULA (Maintain, Operate, Design, Unload, Load, Areas) Be over the age of 18 Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable You Have: An outgoing, confident & friendly personality Good communication & interpersonal skills Goodpunctuality & be reliable Goodphysical capability forheavy labour with a passion to work outdoors in the winter The ability to ski / snowboard (an asset) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive wage: $19.00/hour Mountain access perks: Staff receive an
