About the Job: The Registered Nurse: Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Ensures the delivery of clientcentered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities We currently have Relief Part Time and Full Time opportunities available with the KGH Medical team.

Relief position end dates are determined by the anticipated return date of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

About this location/unit: Interior Health has embarked on an expansion plan to meet increasing demands, expand health services, and enhance patient care in the Okanagan.

Construction of the six-storey, Centennial Patient Care Tower was completed in May 2012.

It includes an expanded emergency department and ambulatory care department, five current operating rooms,



a rooftop helipad, an expanded adult inpatient psychiatric unit, and extra space for more patient beds in the future.
