Job Profile The Bridge Operations Worker working under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Bridge Maintenance and Bridge Operations Technologists, will perform repair and preventative maintenance to bridge infrastructure.

As the Bridge Operations Worker you will: Performrepairs to bridge infrastructure by following standard protocols, procedures and regulations to ensure the safety and integrity of structures.

Performpreventative maintenance to bridge infrastructure by following standard protocols, procedures and regulations to ensure the safety and integrity of structures Performrepair/installation/maintenance of traffic barrier and roadside safety devices (RSD) under occasional supervision Operate

City of Winnipeg equipment and vehicles in a secure and efficient manner Your education and qualifications include: Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Experience performing labourer duties and providing assistance to skilled trades persons related to concrete, asphalt, wood working, and steel work in a construction,



industrial and/or manufacturing environment.

Experience performing installation, general repairs, and preventative maintenance of bridge infrastructure is preferred.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Ability to work in a quick paced environment, organized, prioritize, and manage changing priorities to ensure deadlines are met.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and establish/maintain a positive working relationship with employees at all levels of the organization, external contacts and the public.

Ability to work with minimal supervision. *KEY : Applicants who have been educated outside of Canada must have education which is comparable to the minimum qualification in Canada.
