Payroll Administrator / Payroll Specialist Responsibilities Must have: Ceridian Day Force Portal Experience Payroll Processing: Prepare, process, and verify bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for employees.
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
Review and validate timesheets, attendance records, and employee work hours.
Process payroll adjustments, retroactive payments, and off-cycle payrolls when required.
Ceridian Dayforce (Ceridian Portal) Administration: Utilize Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll data and employee records.
Enter and maintain employee information, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
Generate payroll reports, audit reports, and year-end tax reports through the Dayforce portal.
Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve system-related issues within Ceridian.
Support employees and managers with Dayforce self-service functions, including pay statements, tax forms, advantages,
and personal information updates.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Benefits and Deductions Management: Administer employee benefits enrollment and deductions.
Coordinate with HR regarding benefit changes, leaves of absence, and employee status updates.
Reconcile benefit and pension contributions.
Reporting and Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare payroll summaries and management reports.
Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and advantages.
Provide guidance on accessing payroll information through the Ceridian Dayforce portal.
Resolve payroll issues in a timely and qualified manner.
