University Hill Secondary School is looking for a qualified full time ADST Teacher to create dynamic learning experiences in Applied Design. You will inspire students in multiple disciplines.
This position is a continuing full-time role where you'll teach two blocks of ADST Explorations 8, three blocks of ADST Explorations 9/10, and classes in Yearbook and Engineering 11/12. Candidates are expected to foster an engaging classroom atmosphere and support diverse learners through personalized feedback and adaptive teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver content for ADST Explorations 8 and 9/10
• Oversee Yearbook production and Engineering courses
• Assess and guide student progress meaningfully
• Ensure an inclusive environment for all learners
• Design interactive lesson plans and assessments
Requirements:
• Completed Bachelor of Education degree
• Experience with ADST curriculum
• Hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Must have recent teaching evaluations (if applicable)
• Registered with the Teacher Qualification Service
