The part-time CFO is crucial to maintaining IIROC compliance for our Toronto-based wealth management firm. This position includes establishing policies, overseeing financial reporting accuracy, and addressing compliance issues proactively. You will play a key role in guiding the finance team through financial reporting, cash flow management, and external relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish financial policies and procedures for IIROC compliance
• Monitor adherence to internal policies for regulatory assurance
• Identify and report breaches of capital usage limits
• Supervise financial reporting and accounting functions
• Participate in executive management meetings for operational insights
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a CFO, particularly in wealth management
• Strong knowledge of IIROC regulations and compliance
• Leadership in financial reporting and team management
