Computer Engineering or related technical fieldThinks about engineering perfection in tandem with the developer experience8+ years of relevant work experience with solid development background with Go, Python, or Java; with a strong command of software engineering best practices and system designExperience working with cloud providers like AWSProficiency in orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Rancher) and containerizationtechnologies to deploy and manage high-availability distributed servicesExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.G. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)Experience architecting and scaling Observability platforms leveraging Prometheus and OpenTelemetry, focusing on building self-service instrumentation patterns that enable engineering teams to monitor SLOs/SLIs via distributed tracing and high-cardinality metricsStrong standout colleague with a customer service orientation and ability to forge relationships at all levels of the company and across diverse culturesHave excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonalFor positions that will be based in Toronto, the annual salary range for this position is below.
