JOB SUMMARY As a member of the interdisciplinary EMP team, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care within the scope of qualified LPN practice to patients and families throughout the life span.

The incumbent will be part of the Special Care home (SCH) unit and will provide support to the respective SCH in their regions.

The goal of this team will be to ensure enhanced clinical support to the residents in the special care home by providing quality onsite resident centered care and support to the staff.

Travel within the Province might be required to support the vaccination clinics in the SCH or within the incumbents region for clinical support at an outbreak site. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses Active registration with ANBLPN; Minimum of three years recent medical/surgical,



palliative care and wound care experience in an acute care setting; Demonstrated education and experience related to medication administration, phlebotomy and physical assessment; A valuable driving record with a valid Current Brunswick Class 5 Driver''s License; Have a current CPR Level C certification or be prepared to obtain within 3 months; Ability to work efficiently as a member of the team and solid interpersonal skills, good judgment and decision making skills; Support student placements initiatives; Able to work all shifts as assigned, maintaining a good attendance record; A high regard for confidentiality; and Submit a valid and clean criminal record check.
