We are hiring for a relief (temporary) part time 0.52fte Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

This chance is anticipated to run until the return of the current incumbent.

This role supports a variety of outpatient services for Videofluroscopic Swallowing Studies, Versatile Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, Swallow Assessments/treatment, and communication assessment/treatments for adults.

About the role: The Speech-Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas.





The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication.

The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.
