Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, this position requires expertise in preparing financial statements and analyzing property-level financial reports. You'll also monitor bank accounts, reconcile transactions, and assist with construction-related payables.

The role entails full cycle accounting for various properties, providing essential financial insights and maintaining compliance with policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for properties
Analyze P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flows




Reconcile bank accounts and monitor intercompany transactions
File GST returns and support construction-related payables
Verify invoices for compliance with financial procedures

Requirements:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
Proficient with Yardi and accounting software
Experience in property management or construction accounting
CPA designation is a considered asset
