In the Design and Fabrication Services Branch, the Mechanical Design Technologist will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and designs that meet specific project requirements. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma in mechanical engineering and have experience with intermediate-level design support across multidisciplinary projects, embodying values like Integrity, Excellence, Respect, and Creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed 3D CAD models for mechanical designs
• Produce drawings straightforward enough for fabrication staff




• Engage in project management from concept to realization
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing drafting techniques
• Support various design initiatives as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in mechanical engineering technology (2400 Hr. Program)
• Minimum 3 years experience in prototype design
• Recent hands-on experience in fabrication and manufacturing
• Secret clearance required for this role
• Familiarity with up-to-date engineering materials
