YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE : Reporting to the Setting Supervisor, you will be part of the Environment Department.

Environmental Co-op Student to join our Workplace and Sustainability team reporting to the Workplace Supervisor for a four (4) to eight (8) month term.

You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagles values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Assist the environmental department in the field, manage samples and complete data interpretation on several large and small projects; Assist in field sample collection; Assist in writing annual monitoring reports including data interpretation and trend analysis; Assist in data entry into designated software to track commitments status; Support the team in developing EMS documentation and record keeping templates.



WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Student enrolled in an Environmental Science or Engineering; Computer literate in excel and other basic software with the ability to learn a new system; Able to summarize data into graphs and statistics and other visual forms for illustrating and tracking trends; Knowledge of QA/QC processes for managing environmental data from commercial labs; Able to perform field work in a winter environment (working in cold weather); Knowledge of EMS documents and their applications is considered an asset; Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & Power
