Jobs.ca client is looking for a compassionate and reliable Senior Caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman in his home.
The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure his comfort, safety, and well-being before the arrival of his primary caregiver.
Job Requirements: Position Details: Schedule: 8:00 AM 11:00 AM, 7 days a week (adaptable availability preferred) Weekend Coverage: Additional shifts on weekends will be needed Flexibility: Preferred for timing adjustments as needed Responsibilities: Morning Assistance: Help with breakfast, medication reminders, dressing, shaving, and other personal care needs.
Immediate Support: Assist with getting up and using the washroom safely.
Sleep Protection: Ensure patients rest is undisturbed by external interruptions (e.g., staff or other visitors).
Qualifications: Previous experience in senior care, home care, or as a personal support worker (PSW) preferred.
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of seniors.
Ability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks.
Reliable and punctual with robust communication skills.
