As a Sanitation Worker for municipal parks, youll help keep Oakvilles public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.
This is an active, outdoor role that involves working both independently and with a partner.
Location: Oakville, ON Pay: $18.75/hour + 4% vacation pay (paid weekly, every Friday) Schedule: Full time, September 2nd until end of fall (seasonal, outdoor role) Shifts: Days: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Afternoons: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM (5 days/week; if scheduled on a weekend, youll receive a weekday off in lieu) What Youll Do Pick up litter and debris throughout parks and surrounding areas Empty garbage bins and ensure proper waste disposal Clean, sanitize, and restock public washrooms Drive a Municipality of Oakville vehicle along an assigned route Ensure parks and green spaces are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness What Were Looking For Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Valid G or G2 drivers license with a transparent drivers abstract Bondable and able to pass/submit a explicit police record check Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and different shifts (day or afternoon) Interested?
