A leading packaging manufacturer in Mississauga is looking for a shift production supervisor to join their busy team.
Position Description
- Lead and oversee the shift production operations of packaging manufacturer
- Coordinate and assign tasks to production staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Train, mentor, and develop production team members to enhance their skills and productivity
- Collaborate with the morning production supervisor to ensure a seamless transition of work
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness
- Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
Experience
- Available for shift work
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a print/packaging facility
- Solid understanding of print packaging processes, equipment, and materials
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and efficiency
