Role: AI Specialist Legacy Application Modernization Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Requirement) Duration: Months Contract Job Description: We are looking for a AI Specialist to lead AI assisted legacy application modernization initiatives for large Telecom environments.

The role focuses on legacy discovery, documentation, and modernization planning using CAALM powered by Pega GenAI Blueprint, working closely with SMEs, architects, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities: Lead legacy application discovery and assessment across OSS/BSS and related platforms Perform source code analysis and extract workflows, business rules, and data models using CAALM tooling Produce modernization artifacts: application documentation, workflow models, rule catalogs, and data glossaries Support application rationalization and modernization roadmaps, including business case inputs Facilitate workshops with business and technical SMEs to validate extracted logic and gaps Collaborate with Pega architects to transition legacy insights into target-state Pega designs Ensure secure handling of application data and compliance with client policies Required Skills & Experience years in legacy application modernization, transformation,
