Our client in Peel Region, ON is actively looking for an Accounts Payable to join their team.

Position Description: Review and validate invoices and expense reports to ensure accuracy and completeness Process invoices, expense claims, and corporate card transactions in a timely and accurate manner Verify invoice details by matching them to purchase orders, confirming pricing and quantities Accurately code and input invoices into the accounting system in accordance with approval protocols Prepare and execute payment runs, including cheques, ACH transfers, and wire payments Reconcile accounts payable records and investigate any discrepancies Conduct routine quality checks to maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with internal policies Perform audits of accounts payable records to confirm adherence to company guidelines and regulatory standards Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation by collaborating with cross-functional teams Develop and maintain quality control procedures to support ongoing process improvements Keep thorough and organized records of transactions,



invoices, and audit findings Generate reports related to accounts payable and quality control for management review Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and accrual preparation What You Bring: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or a related discipline years of experience in accounting functions such as AP, AR, or billing Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles Robust proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with robust self-motivation High level of accuracy and attention to detail Experience working in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment Familiarity with Deltek Vision is considered an asset Additional Information: Compensation for this position ranges from $, to $, annually Final salary will depend on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and location, and may vary based on cost of labor differences If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
