Position Description As a Maintenance Mechanic Technician, you will play a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime and ensuring secure, efficient production.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Install, adjust, rebuild, and maintain production machinery.

Perform equipment changeovers and mechanical adjustments to support production schedules.

Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability.

Participate in root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.

Ensure all work is performed safely while following company policies and preventative maintenance procedures.





Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.

Qualifications Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) or equivalent mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing. 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Previous experience within the printed packaging, printing, folding carton, labels, flexible packaging, corrugated, or converting industry is considered a robust asset.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and power transmission systems.

Experience reading mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.

Comfortable troubleshooting high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.

Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to prioritize work and respond effectively in a fast-paced production setting.

Comfortable working independently on the afternoon shift.
