Description Theory and practice of financial statement preparation including conceptual framework for accounting choices, revenue recognition and role of financial information in contracting.
Emphasis on measurement, reporting, and disclosure of monetary assets and liabilities.
Includes complex issues such as accounting for leases, pensions, future income taxes, intercorporate investments and cash flow reporting.
Compensation Marker-Grader positions are paid according tothe qualifications that the employee holds.
Masters Degree Complete ($ - Paid to employees who have completed a masters degree.
Undergraduate Degree Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree.
Third Year Complete ($ - Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduatehonoursdegree.
Second Year Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree.
First Year Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed the first year of an undergraduatehonoursdegree.
Due to limited hours available not all positions may move beyond the posting stage.

Duties Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement.
The marker-grader is expected to mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams and must be prepared to provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
The marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
Qualifications Must have completed MPAC 5P01(or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher Graduate of or Major in Accounting with a minimum major average of 75% Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset
