Responsibilities: Supports the budget for KEI and works within its parameters.

Provides input into the need and use of equipment and supplies required for patients.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Required: Current General Class (Practising) RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Required: Current BLS certification.

Required: Completion of a perioperative RN nursing program.

Preferred: ORNAC-approved perioperative nursing program.

Required: Minimum of one year of recent, relevant operating room clinical experience.

Preferred: Acute care experience.

Preferred: CNA certification in perioperative nursing.

Preferred: Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Demonstrated solid work ethic and excellent attendance record.





Ability to cross-traintopre- and post-operative areas.

Willingness to work flexible schedule to meet the needs of patients and the facility.
