Our financial services client is seeking a Analyst II to draft, issue, advise, and amend SBLC/Guarantees using Trade Finance and AML procedures Join a trade finance operations team supporting SBLC and Guarantees activities within a banking workplace.

This role supports BAU operations including drafting, issuing, advising, and amending standby letters of credit and bank guarantees while ensuring adherence to AML procedures and regulatory requirements.

The position offers long-term contract potential within a team-oriented 16-person team supporting Canadian, US, and UK business operations.

Contract, Montreal, Hybrid,First 3 months, 5 days onsite.

Once trained, 3 days a week - Toronto is also an option (2nd preference) 12 months Must Haves 3+ years supporting Trade Finance , SBLC , and Bank Guarantees operations AML procedures and due diligence within Trade Finance transactions UCP , ISP 98 ,



and URDG knowledge Bilingual English/French communication skills Post-secondary education Nice to Have CDCS and/or CSDG certification Knowledge of TF Spanish language skills Knowledge of LCBA procedures and requirements Microsoft Office Responsibilities Draft, issue, advise, and amend SBLC/Guarantees transactions and related correspondence Review guarantee text requests and provide comments to clients or relationship managers Release transactions according to team volumes and requirements Participate in monthly reporting and reconciliation tasks Provide technical advice to clients and partners Ensure due diligence is completed for transactions in accordance with trade finance AML procedures Execute ad-hoc requests and support rotational holiday coverage
