This full-time Planner III position focuses on coordinating site plan reviews and controlling applications in accordance with municipal bylaws. You will collaborate with public stakeholders, create technical analyses and recommendations, and participate in developing standards that enhance community aesthetics. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate site plan review including approvals and applications
• Communicate effectively with developers and City Council




• Prepare technical analyses and council reports for applications
• Research trends and recommend best practices for planning
• Provide testimony on planning matters at hearings
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Planning or related field
• Minimum two years of planning experience
• Full member of Ontario Skilled Planners
• Strong project management and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel to off-site locations
