What You’ll Do

As a 5-Axis Machinist at SyBridge Technologies, you will program, set up, operate, and optimize 5-axis CNC machining centers to manufacture precision tooling and components for industry-leading customers.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers
- Program and optimize toolpaths using Lemoine and/or PowerMill
- Read and interpret engineering CAD designs, Red Line dimensions, and GD&T; requirements
- Perform machine setups, prove-out new programs, and optimize machining processes
- Select appropriate tooling, workholding, and machining strategies for complex components
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Verify parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
- Deburr and clean finished components
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements to improve quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with engineering, programming, and production teams to meet customer deadlines

Qualifications





- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience operating and setting up 5-axis CNC machining centers in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience programming using Lemoine and/or PowerMill (preferred)
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain-controlled CNC machines is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of 5-axis machining principles, tooling, machine setups, and workholding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering CAD designs and work to tight tolerances
- Experience inspecting precision components using a variety of measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and work in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working around varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and other manufacturing conditions
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves,



and other protective equipment as required
