This is an 18-month term with Loewen's Drafting and Design Solutions team. You will engage in designing custom product solutions in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and design teams. Your role includes producing technical drawings, providing mentorship to junior staff, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive detail drawings and manufacturing templates
• Monitor incoming quote request queues effectively
• Mentor and train Junior Drafting Technicians




• Collaborate with internal teams for project success
• Support improvements by responding to workflow suggestions
Requirements:
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Robust grasp of detailing practices and terminology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail
• Drafting/CAD certification is a plus
