Reporting to the Manager of Surgical Services, the Registered Nurse will promote health and assess, provide, and treat health conditions for adults and children in a perianesthesia environment. Your two years of PACU and acute care experience will empower you to deliver essential supportive, preventative, and therapeutic measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote health and facilitate patient recovery phases
• Assess and administer treatments in Day Surgery and PACU
• Provide care for adults and children post-anesthesia
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes
• Ensure compliance with patient safety regulations
Requirements:
• Registration with Ontario College of Nurses
• Minimum 2 years PACU nursing experience
• Completion of Post Anaesthetic Course
• Solid assessment and communication skills
• Current certifications in BCLS and IV medications
