As a key member of the Geriatric Program, you will deliver assessment, treatment, and consultation services to elderly clients experiencing complex mental health challenges. Your expertise in psychosocial assessments, crisis interventions, and care planning will positively impact clients and their caregivers. This position involves close collaboration with community agencies to enrich service delivery and education surrounding geriatric mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical services through comprehensive psychosocial assessments
• Develop treatment plans and conduct family counseling




• Monitor psychosocial situations and referral services
• Facilitate community service utilization for clients
• Act as an advocate for clients and their families
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counselling
• One year of experience in geriatric psychiatry
• Registration with a qualified association
• Valid Class V BC Driver's Licence
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
