We are looking for a rigorous and service-oriented IT Procurement Agent to support our technology operations.
In this key role, you will act as the primary point of contact between internal IT teams and our suppliers, ensuring productive, compliant, and strategic procurement of IT equipment and software licenses.
Your Rôle
Process purchases of equipment and licenses based on internal requests
Select products that comply with established standards
Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders
Closely monitor orders with suppliers through to completion
Manage delivery timelines, stock shortages, and back‑order situations
Keep internal clients informed on the status of their requests
Recommend purchases based on inventory levels and estimated delivery times (ETA)
Contribute to inventory level optimization
Apply and enforce internal IT procurement policies
Participate in improving internal and supplier‑related processes
Create and update equipment records in internal systems
Perform any other related duties connected to IT procurement activities
Qualifications
Diploma in Administration with a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or as a buyer
Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written. In this role, you will collaborate regularly with internal clients across Canada
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Oracle and ServiceNow (an asset)
Basic accounting and financial knowledge (an asset)
