Become a vital part of Fenwood’s municipal team as a Part-Time Public Works Operator. Engage in the maintenance of essential infrastructure and operate various equipment.
This position requires assisting with the upkeep of municipal roads, ditches, and gravel surfaces within the RM of Fenwood. You will operate tools and equipment, including tractors and graders, to maintain and repair local roadways. Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years of relevant municipal experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate tractors, mowers, and graders proficiently
• Maintain and repair roadways and gravel surfaces
• Utilize hand tools and power augers for specific tasks
• Support overall infrastructure maintenance efforts
• Participate in routine maintenance as scheduled
Requirements:
• Must have a Grade 12 education
• 1-2 years of experience in public works or related field
• Experience operating maintenance equipment is essential
• Strong focus on safety and proper equipment handling
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
