Enbridge seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Technologist for their Utilities & Power Operations team in Ontario. This hands-on role focuses on telemetry systems, SCADA programming, and field operations.
This full-time position requires a College graduate in Instrumentation/Controls or Electrical Technology, along with 5 to 7 years of relevant field experience. Responsibilities include the implementation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of Electrical and Controls systems, ensuring all work aligns with applicable codes and standards. You will work closely with Gas Control and Station Operations to handle telemetry incidents and disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and commission telemetry and SCADA systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain telemetry and instrumentation equipment




• Program Remote Terminal Units and Electronic Pressure Recorders
• Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive actions
• Participate in on-call duties across Ontario
Requirements:
• College degree in relevant technology field
• 5–7 years of field experience
• Proficiency in RTUs, PLCs, and electronic devices
• Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel and work on-call
