About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice-President, Academic to serve as its Chief Academic Officer and provide strategic leadership for its undergraduate Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, faculty development, and patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and leading the academic and financial planning, overseeing a large team of faculty and staff, and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and rigorous performance standards. This role also involves maintaining positive relations with alumni, partners, and various stakeholders, as well as serving as a liaison to the Board of Governors' committees.

Applicants for the Vice-President, Academic position at the company must hold a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)



degree in addition to a PhD, MEd, or EdD, and have a strong record of academic scholarship. The ideal candidate will have a background in senior academic leadership, particularly within a unionized academic institution with a focus on health sciences. Familiarity with the chiropractic profession, the evidence-informed healthcare model, and the Canadian healthcare system is essential. The role requires a leader with outstanding communication and engagement skills, a proven track record in interdisciplinary research and clinical experience, and the ability to manage large and complex budgets.
