Responsibilities
Complete pre-inspection equipment reports before each shift including Saws/Cranes/Forklifts and any other equipment used
Perform all tasks safely and as directed
Comply with all workplace policies including health and safety
Be a team player
Perform all tasks in a qualified, respectful manner
Any other tasks that may be assigned by management
Participate in all company directed training
Responsible for selecting the correct material in order to saw cut customer orders as required
Organize work to consistently meet established production and quality targets
Job Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
May be required to work rotating shifts
Ability to read, write and understand English
Minimum two years of experience operating overhead cranes
Previous experience with saw cutting
Proficient in performing mathematical calculations with ability to read a tape measure/caliper
Self motivated, results oriented
