This full time, in office role requires a skilled technician with over two years of experience in fiber cabling. You will install, splice, and test various cabling systems such as Cat 5E, Cat 6, and fiber optics, supporting diverse commercial and industrial projects. Robust troubleshooting skills and a valid Alberta Class 5 License are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and test structured cabling and fiber optic systems • Troubleshoot and maintain communication circuits • Read and interpret telecom drawings efficiently • Work safely on diverse industrial and office projects • Ensure compliance with wiring standards and safety protocols
Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of fiber and structured cabling experience • Valid Alberta Class 5 License required • Strong troubleshooting and client-facing skills • Knowledge of networking requirements • Manufacturer certifications are a bonus
