In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operations team, providing necessary relief for Shift Engineers and assuming leadership in the absence of the Operations Manager. Your expertise will ensure that safety measures and operational standards are upheld while spearheading projects, planning outages, and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the Operating Crew efficiently
• Provide operational support for capital projects and outages
• Administer Lock Out/Tag Out programs diligently




• Communicate effectively with Plant Management and Operators
• Mentor Operating Crew members for qualified growth
Requirements:
• Valid BC Interprovincial First Class or Second Class Power Engineer’s Certificate
• At least 10 years in Power Plant operations or supervision
• Experience with CEMS and Solid Fuel facilities
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices
• Robust computer skills and experience with maintenance software
