NHS Fife Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate is seeking a permanent Specialist Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Mental Health services. In this role, you will manage diverse mental health conditions while ideally working toward an independent prescribing qualification. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure protected and effective medication use, enhancing pharmaceutical care for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inpatient and outpatient mental health patient caseloads • Provide expertise in prescribing and medication governance • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care • Offer specialist pharmacy advice on medication safety • Engage in training and peer-support networks for prescribers
Requirements: • Independent prescribing qualification (or in progress) required • Completion of pharmacy foundation programme is desirable • Solid understanding of mental health conditions • Ability to travel throughout Fife • Commitment to patient-centred care
