Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Band 5 Registered Nurse in their Dermatology Outpatients Department. Deliver person-centred care while developing specialized dermatology nursing skills.
In this role, you will work across the South Sector’s dermatology units, primarily at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with opportunities for cross-working at Gartnavel General and Current Victoria Hospitals. Your focus will be on providing excellent care to patients with diverse dermatological conditions and working collaboratively with a multi-qualified team for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support consultant-led and nurse-led dermatology clinics
• Assist in outpatient clinics and perform venepuncture
• Provide phototherapy and topical treatments
• Support patch testing and dermatological surgical sessions
• Collaborate with the nursing team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
• NMC Registered Nurse status
• Desirable previous dermatology experience
• Robust motivation for dermatology specialty
• Full training will be provided
• Desire to develop specialty skills
