Job Title: Software Developer - Senior

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 55 Business Days with possible extension

Pay Rate: CAD $95 per hour

Role Overview

This is a Senior Software Developer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications. You'll be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into secure, high-quality solutions, developing backend services and REST APIs , troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile workplace , building Java-based applications integrated with Oracle or SQL databases , and leveraging up-to-date architectures such as microservices while following security and development best practices for enterprise systems.

Must Have
10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in the large-scale multi-client web applications
10+ year of hands‑on working experience of Java development with Oracle or SQL database
5+ years of hands‑on experience of RestAPI, RESTful WebServices
Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)




Solid Understanding of Agile methodologies

Role and responsibilities

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

This includes:
Developing detailed programming specifications
writing and/or generating code of compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.
