Join the College as a Research Associate focused on advanced technologies, including remote sensing and artificial intelligence. Collaborate with government and industry to drive innovation and research initiatives.
In this role, you will report to the Manager, CNC Research Forest, and work alongside Faculty to explore emerging technologies. You will develop research objectives, design experiments, and co-author publications. You'll also secure funding through grant applications and build partnerships with relevant industry sectors and organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set research objectives and design experiments for projects
• Develop instrumentation and equipment for research initiatives
• Co-author publications and present research findings




• Identify and engage industry partnerships and stakeholders
• Manage project budgets and administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Remote Sensing or related field; Master's preferred
• 5 years’ research or innovation experience
• Proficiency in LiDAR or satellite remote sensing
• Robust analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work on complex technical challenges
